Hello! I'm Alana, a designer and illustrator based in Los Angeles. I love using bright colors and expression to tell fantastical stories.I graduated from California State Fullerton with a BFA in illustration with a focus on entertainment design. I use my skillset to tell stories through my artwork and bring design concepts to life!I've been designing consumer products with a specialty in softgoods for over 6 years for my own small business, Gryphll, as well as various high profile brands such as Pokemon, Disney, Build-a-Bear, NBCUniversal, and Warner Bros. "Gryphll" is a small business I started casually in my college days, but grew into a serious business following the COVID-19 pandemic.
I started by turning some of my illustrations and designs into printed goods such as stickers, art prints, and keychains. Over time, I expanded into other mediums such as enamel pins, apparels, accessories, plush dolls, and more, working directly with manufacturing partners and overseas factories. Today, the artwork of Gryphll can be found online, at various anime and comic conventions across the country, and select retail/boutique stores.
